All our events benefit the work of Allegheny County Parks Foundation.

And all our work benefits your Allegheny County Parks. Thanks to your support, and our partners, we are on a mission to improve, conserve and restore the nine beautiful parks of Allegheny County.

2020 Campaign for the Parks

Path through Settlers Cabin Park

The Parks Foundation loves a party! For the past three years, we’ve gathered park lovers and sponsors at the Twilight Picnic for the Parks to celebrate our shared joy of 12,000 acres of trees, meadows, hiking trails and so much more. It’s our time to shine, to show our valued supporters how vital their funding is for improving, conserving and restoring the nine Allegheny County parks.

But the uncertainty of COVID-19 has led our Board of Directors to cancel our annual fundraising gala this summer. We hope you will recognize these extraordinary circumstances as a special time to focus on one of our region’s most valuable assets, the Allegheny County Parks, and preserving the open spaces and fresh air that draws us to them.

The 2020 Campaign for the Allegheny County Parks offers you a chance to support the parks today. Your support over the years has helped us plant 24 acres of meadows, 2,000 trees and restore six miles of trails, improving the parks’ ecology and benefiting the entire region. Your support has also helped us restore historical features like the Cascades in South Park and the Sculpture Park at Hartwood Acres.

At this time of uncertainty, we lean on the people and places that offer hope for better days to come. The Allegheny County Parks Foundation continues working toward that day and with your help, we will get there together.

Please support your nine Allegheny County parks with a 100% tax-deductible donation to the Allegheny County Parks Foundation.
