Allegheny County has one of the largest, most established park systems in the country. With 12,000 acres spread across nine regional parks, the Allegheny County park system includes beautifully landscaped fields, rugged hiking trails and abundant recreational facilities, all managed by Allegheny County Parks.
The Allegheny County Parks Foundation is the non-profit organization that partners with Allegheny County to improve, conserve and restore these nine county parks. By connecting the team of county leaders with organizations, foundations, corporations and caring individuals, we’re working together to make the parks better for everyone.
