Great parks make great communities. Parks are made great by volunteers who roll up their sleeves and work together to preserve and improve the parks. We live in a community with a long tradition of caring and civic pride. An important part of our mission is to provide meaningful opportunities for volunteers to make a difference in the parks with opportunities for hands-on work, educational programs, and supporting local efforts to raise funds for park improvements.

Angora Gardens is a developmental program offered through Mon Yough Community Services, and in located in century-old farmhouse along Muse Lane in White Oak Park. The program provides training and social rehabilitation to anyone who needs to develop or regain skills necessary to live, work and socialize in their community.
