Harrison Hills Park
On 500 acres in Harrison Township in the extreme northeast portion of Allegheny County, Harrison Hills Park borders the Allegheny River and offers a magnificent view of Westmoreland, Butler and Armstrong counties from the Watts Memorial Overlook. The trails in the park bring visitors by streams, waterfalls and ponds. Popular activities at the park are birding and tree and plant identification. The Environmental Learning Center hosts guided walks and nature camps to take advantage of this natural gem. Noted as an Audubon site, many birds can be seen during migratory seasons.
