Allegheny County has one of the nation's largest and most well-established park systems.  The county parks are contributors to our quality of life, healthy lifestyle and year-round recreation. Located in a 15– to 20–mile radius from downtown Pittsburgh, the nine parks - North Park, South Park, Boyce Park, Hartwood Acres, Settler's Cabin Park, White Oak Park, Round Hill Park, Harrison Hills Park and Deer Lakes Park - serve virtually all of the communities and citizens of Allegheny County.
