Welcome to The Allegheny 9, a unique opportunity to engage the running community to experience Allegheny County's nine parks.

Welcome to The Allegheny 9, an innovative race series designed by the Allegheny County Parks Foundation (ACPF) to shine a spotlight on our 9 Allegheny County Parks and to raise funds to support our ongoing improvement projects.

Scheduled to launch in October 2016 and conclude in November 2017, The Allegheny 9 inaugural series offers a challenging mix of 5K and 10K road and trail races that has never been attempted before now.

Register for at least 3 races and receive a 20% discount.

All participants receive a t-shirt and medal unique to each race. Runners who participate in all nine races will receive a commemorative display that holds all nine race medals.

At the end of the series, runners who participated in all 9 races plus the three top male and female and Masters men and women from each race will be entered into a drawing to win a bicycle package (bike and riding gear) provided by

A bicycle package will be awarded to one male and one female winner. As an example, if you are a top finisher in 2 races and you run all 9 races, you receive three entries for the bicycle package drawing.

Always end up finishing at the end of the pack? Fear not! We have a prize for you too! The three "butt naked last" men and women from each race will be entered into a drawing to win a running package also provided by Pro Bike + Run.

The Allegheny 9 offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities that provide sustained visibility on a regional level as well as valuable support to help improve the Allegheny County Parks.
